Why this award matters

The German Health Award puts the experiences of real users at the center. Among other things, value for money, the offering and customer service were evaluated – including product quality/benefit, range of offerings, as well as availability and response to inquiries. 2022 was the premiere of the award; the ceremony took place on September 1, 2022 in Essen.

What makes OvulaRing special

• Medical cycle tracker (CE): OvulaRing is a certified medical device (Class IIa).
• Continuous core temperature: A vaginal biosensor measures around the clock – 288 readings per day – capturing individual cycle patterns regardless of cycle length or daily influences.
• Precise cycle insights: Thanks to the dense data basis, ovulation and fertility patterns can be derived personally – helpful when trying to conceive and with irregular cycles.

How it was evaluated

For the German Health Award 2022, DISQ and ntv collected tens of thousands of customer votes and classified providers into 44 categories – from digital health and health products to counseling & support. In the “Cycle computers/trackers” category, OvulaRing was among the award-winning providers.
